Last week I shot a fun maternity session in Back Bay in Newport Beach. love shooting maternity sessions, its such a special time in life, and beyond beautiful if you ask me! Jose and Sharie….Married!
When two people are in love, its easy to see. Its the gentle smiles, the sparkle in their eyes, the soft embraces, its all so inspiring and magical to see! Jose and Sharie are perfect examples of this magical emotion we call love. They have been dating for years and this past summer Jose finally popped the question to Sharie! I was so thrilled when I met them and they chose me as their photographer for this special day…I knew we’d be a perfect match!
Their wedding day was perfect! Although the rain was pounding earlier in the morning, the sun came out just in time for us to capture some beautiful images of them and their fabulous bridal party at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica. Unfortunately, photography was not allowed during their ceremony, but myself along with all their friends and family were waiting outside the temple to welcome them as Mr. and Mrs. for the very first time!
Does Jose know how to work it or what?

Garrett is three!!!
Garrett is one of my favorite little guys ever. He is such smart, funny and sweet little boy. I have loved being able to capture him for the past two years, he has grown and changed so much. Garrett’s Mom, is a really close friend of mine who is a great photographer herself! We have been working since the beginning of the year, teaching her how to take better pictures of her adorable kids. We shot Garrett together for this session, and I am going to make her share some of her pictures on her blog! I had a great time Melissa, I hope you had fun too and I can’t wait to see some of your images!

Before we start here is one of my favorite pictures of Garrett from his 2 year old shoot, I can’t believe its been a year!
Since last year, Garrett has graduated to a normal sized skateboard, and is seriously the next little Tony Hawk, he has some major skills!
